Maine Ends & My Florida Chapter begins-starting with Bonny Shores Dr, Lakeland, Florida
In 2018, the Maine property sells with a 5~year Land Contract; then 3 years into to the agreement, the Buyer as an early 2021 Christmas gift into both of our lives pays it off! What a relief that I don't have to look back at what was anymore. Now I can plan ahead for what can be. Thoughts to prosper into the future, with an expected end; not harm.
Scaling down to a 2 Bedroom ~ 1 bath Mobile Home & move in on 7/17/1018. It's an oldie for sure, but paid for & I'm so very THANKFUL
I have opportunity to work again. Employment began here at Verizon Wireless~GCServices Call Center on 11/5/2018 as a Collections Customer
Account Analyst.
2022 ~ Changes have improved the property by adding more garden foliage in the front where grass wouldn't grow, plus repainting the trim to green rather than blue. Ideas for the lawn redo came mostly from a landscape maintenance businessman who lives just outside the park but attends to many of the lawns here, as well as from other neighbors, some of whom gave away free plants! Inside, modest upgrades of door handle & floor vent cover replacements, mirrored sliding closet doors along with new carpet in both bedrooms, & paint touch ups have enhanced the appearance adding to what the former owner had already done to modernize it a bit. Getting a handle on the insects that thrive in Florida warm humid weather has been a challenge as well as keeping kitty litter dust & outside traffic dirt entry (being a corner lot) is an ongoing cleaning battle, nevertheless. there has been progress made.
The park made it through the worst of the pandemic with very few adjustments needed other than the Clubhouse activities shutting down for a few months. My employment transitioned from the call center to remote work in my own little corner set up rather than a cubicle which was great! COVID altered so many peoples' lives elsewhere as informed by news articles & customers conveying pain over deaths & employment shutdowns. Many relocated as I had to do & were very thankful & enthused to start again in a new episode of their life. Typical family & friend gatherings or Church services utilized live streaming technology more than ever before, but for those hospitalized, it became a lonely, frightening, isolated endurance test. The world continues our recovery from the debilitating effects of the Corona Virus, yet, as a whole, we're once again slowly going forward. In August 2021, I quit the Call Center job even after I reduced my hours to PT as a way of reprieve. I was offered what appeared to be something better, but it didn't "pan out" as promised & I couldn't fathom returning to the angry, vulgar mouthed few that spoiled my Verizon customer service experience. I've ventured forth since then sending out resumes in varied directions; considering Copywriting & Life Coaching business certification classes; & low-cost relocation options. Life is always an adventure, so when I turn the next bend in the road, you'll be one of the first to know!
